• What makes a good site?

  Entry criteria for the competition can be found below. Please read carefully:

  1. Sites must be situated on main arterial/high-traffic routes in the UK.
  2. Sites can be private or publicly owned/run, but not 'on-street' locations. 
  3. Fleet owners/operators, we'd love to hear from you too!
  4. Sites must be able to accommodate multiple rather than single charging units.
  5. Sites must have enough parking bays to help us solve accessibility issues.
  6. Sites should be in safe, secure and well-lit public areas.
  7. Sites must have open access from the road at all times. Gated entries won't qualify.
  8. Ideally, sites should be between 0.2-2 acres but we will consider larger locations.
  9. Leasehold sites (with a minimum 15-year term) are preferred.
  10. Existing car parks with a minimum of four spaces are preferred.

   

  We’ll look into all recommendations that fit the bill. Clearly, we will then have to carry out some due diligence to ensure that the site owner is open to entering into a long-term partnership and sufficient power can be delivered/upgraded, but you know your towns and communities better than anyone, so we’ll let you take charge!
