These terms and conditions apply to the Power Hours free EV charging campaign taking place at selected charging locations during August 2026. By taking part in the campaign, customers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Promoter
The promoter of this offer is Iduna OMA limited.
2. Campaign Period
The campaign will run on selected Saturdays in August 2026. Free charging will be available at selected participating sites between 11:00 and 13:00 on each campaign date, subject to charger availability, operational status and these terms and conditions.
3. Participating Dates and Locations
The exact participating charging sites will remain confidential until shortly before each Power Hour event. The promoter may share the event date, time and an approximate area in advance. Exact locations are expected to be announced approximately 30 minutes before the event begins via the promoter’s social media channels and, where available, on-site promotional signage.
4. The Offer
During each Power Hour event, customers using eligible chargers at the selected participating site may receive free EV charging for the promotional period of 11:00 to 13:00, or such other free charging allowance as the promoter confirms in campaign communications. The promoter may apply a fixed energy allowance in kWh rather than a time-based allowance where this is stated in the relevant announcement.
5. Eligibility
The campaign is open to EV drivers using eligible chargers at participating locations during the stated promotional period.
Customers must be able to start and complete a charging session using only the Be.EV app or RFID card.
The offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to charger availability.
No purchase or entry fee is required to participate, although normal app account requirements may apply where a customer chooses to use the app.
6. How to Take Part
Follow the promoter’s social media channels and email for Power Hours announcements.
Check the location reveal shortly before the event starts.
Travel safely to the participating site and use an available eligible charger during the promotional period.
Start a charging session using the normal on-site process.
End the charging session promptly once charging is complete, once the promotional period has ended, or once any stated kWh allowance has been reached.
7. Offer Limits and Fair Use
The free charging offer is limited to the promotional period and participating chargers only.
The promoter may set a maximum free charging allowance per vehicle, per session or per customer. Any such allowance will be confirmed in campaign communications or on-site signage.
Any charging that continues after the promotional period, or after any stated free kWh allowance has been used, may be charged at the applicable tariff.
Customers must not block chargers unnecessarily and are asked to move their vehicle promptly once their charging session has ended or their vehicle has reached a practical state of charge.
The promoter may restrict, pause or end a session where misuse, unsafe behaviour, technical issues or site congestion occurs.
8. Availability and Operational Issues
The promoter will use reasonable efforts to make free charging available as advertised. However, access to free charging is not guaranteed and may be affected by charger availability, grid constraints, technical faults, maintenance, local site restrictions, weather, health and safety considerations, traffic, or other circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is compatible with the charger they choose to use.
Customers must comply with all site rules, parking restrictions, safety instructions and any directions given by site staff or the promoter’s representatives.
Customers must not drive dangerously, park irresponsibly, obstruct other users or cause nuisance at any participating site.
Customers remain responsible for any parking charges, fines, penalties, congestion charges, travel costs or other costs incurred when visiting a participating site.
10. Exclusions
The offer has no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged, transferred, refunded or used retrospectively.
The offer cannot be applied to charging sessions started before the promotional period unless the promoter states otherwise.
The offer cannot be combined with any other discount, promotion or credit unless expressly confirmed by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for customers who are unable to participate because of travel time, charger queues, incompatible vehicles, app or payment issues, lack of mobile signal, or failure to see a location reveal.
Any charging sessions utilising this promotion are ineligible for entry into the ongoing 39 Ways to Win competition.
11. Photography, Video and Social Media
The promoter may capture general photography and video content at participating sites for marketing and campaign reporting purposes. Customers will not be intentionally featured in close-up promotional content without appropriate consent. Customers who share content using campaign hashtags or tag the promoter may be contacted for permission to reshare their content.
12. Data Protection
Any personal data collected in connection with the campaign will be processed in accordance with the promoter’s privacy policy. This may include account, app, charging session or customer service information generated when a customer uses the promoter’s charging network. Customers should refer to the promoter’s privacy
policy for further information about how their data is used and their rights.
13. Changes, Cancellation and Suspension
The promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, cancel or substitute any element of the campaign where it becomes necessary to do so for operational, safety, technical, legal or other reasons beyond its reasonable control. Where reasonably possible, any material changes will be communicated through the promoter’s usual campaign channels.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, the promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, costs or expenses arising from participation in the campaign except where caused by the promoter’s breach of these terms or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
15. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with the campaign, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
16. Important Publication Notes
Before publication, the promoter should insert the full legal entity name, registered address, customer support contact details, privacy policy reference, final tariff treatment, and the confirmed free charging mechanism. These terms are drafted as a practical marketing promotion framework and should be reviewed by the promoter’s legal team before use.
