Meet the new power couple

That’s right, we’ve tied the knot with one of the UK’s largest roaming networks – Paua!

This partnership is all about giving you more options, more coverage, and more convenience when it comes to charging your electric vehicle.

What's in it for me?

This new partnership means that 700 more charge points are now part of the Paua network, expanding charging options significantly for fleet and Motability drivers, particularly those in and around Greater Manchester.

Having more charge points means more confidence for both drivers and businesses alike. With at least two charge points every square mile in Greater Manchester, you’re never far from a reliable top-up.

Drivers can now tap into any of our fast, rapid or ultra-rapid Charging Hubs using their Paua app or RFID card, it's that simple.

Our Mission Continues

Be.EV is committed to expanding network coverage across the North of England and beyond. We’re not stopping at 700; our goal is to hit 1,000 charging points by the end of 2024.

Partnering with Paua is a huge step toward making EV charging more accessible and giving drivers the choice to charge the way that suits them the best.

Paua’s Reach

Paua now offers access to over 54,000 charge points at more than 17,000 locations across the UK.

This extensive network is designed to reduce the anxiety around switching to electric vehicles, making it easier for businesses and drivers alike to lower their transport emissions.

With Paua, drivers can find a charger within 15 miles, tap their Paua card, and get back on the road quickly.

The Future is Electric

The number of electric vehicles in the UK is rising fast. By the end of June 2024, there were over 1.1 million fully electric cars and nearly 150,000 electric vans on UK roads.

Be.EV and Paua are here to support this growth, making EV charging more accessible and convenient for all.

Our CEO, Asif Ghafoor, summed it up perfectly: “We are very pleased to be working with Paua - a company which shares our mission to bring EV charging to as many people as possible. At Be.EV we are constantly looking for new sites to install our community-focused charging sites and will bring them to Paua customers as they go live.”

Paua’s CEO, Niall Riddell, added: “Be.EV is demonstrating true leadership in ensuring that electric vehicle drivers are catered for across the country. Starting in the North and with the backing of Octopus, extending across the UK ensures drivers get access to high-quality, well-priced, reliable and green electricity. We are delighted to be working with Be.EV."
