We're delighted to announce a new partnership with Leasing.com, the UK’s biggest car lease comparison site, designed to make the switch to electric simpler, clearer and more affordable for drivers across the UK.
As demand for electric vehicles continues to accelerate, access to reliable, fairly priced public charging is becoming a critical part of the EV buying decision – particularly for drivers who can’t rely on home charging. This partnership brings charging confidence directly into the leasing journey.
From today, we will be integrated across Leasing.com’s EV leasing enquiry journey, supported by a rolling programme of practical, easy-to-understand content explaining how public charging works, what it costs and how drivers can charge day-to-day.
By partnering with Leasing.com, we will connect with drivers at the moment they’re choosing their next vehicle – helping them understand not just which EV to drive, but how to power it confidently in everyday life.
Helping drivers access affordable rapid public charging
Be.EV offers two subscription options – Mini and Mega – designed to make rapid and ultra-rapid public charging simpler and better value. Both plans unlock access to cheaper charging, the Mini offering 49p/kWh for £4.99 per month and The Mega offering 39p/kWh for £9.99 per month.
Be.EV’s subscription rates, help drivers reduce the cost of charging away from home and budget with greater certainty.
Alongside its subscription pricing, Be.EV also offers the UK’s longest off-peak 39p/kWh pricing window from 7pm–7am, giving drivers a wider opportunity to charge for less at participating sites.
As Be.EV continues integrating newly acquired sites into its network, more drivers will be able to access the same clear, consistent pricing across a growing nationwide footprint.
Be.EV’s subscription model will be showcased across the Leasing.com platform through on-site features, social media content and video reviews. These will demonstrate how public charging costs typically compare when using Be.EV’s subscription rate, alongside practical guidance on charger locations and usage – helping to reduce uncertainty around both cost and availability.
Later this year, Leasing.com will also launch a public charger location map, helping users quickly find their nearest Be.EV charger while on the move.
Together, the partnership is designed to give added peace of mind on both vehicle leasing and charging costs – supporting everyday drivers, business fleets and salary sacrifice customers as they transition to electric.
EV demand is accelerating – charging confidence must keep pace
Leasing remains one of the most cost-effective ways for UK drivers to switch to electric, thanks to low upfront costs and predictable monthly payments. That reassurance is particularly important for first-time EV drivers.
Latest data from Leasing.com highlights the pace of change. In 2025, electric vehicle enquiries rose to 34.1% of all searches on the platform, up from 26.2% the previous year. The new Ford Puma ranked as the most popular EV in 2025 on Leasing.com, closely followed by the emerging Polestar 4.
Interest in hybrid vehicles is also growing strongly, with enquiries more than doubling year-on-year from 10.7% to 22.8%, as some drivers take a gradual route towards electrification.
That momentum has accelerated further in early 2026. In January alone, electric car and van enquiries were 69.5% higher than a year earlier, while hybrid enquiries increased by 75.0% compared with January 2025.
Google Trends data reinforces the importance of charging in the decision-making process. UK searches for “public EV charging” have risen by 79% year-on-year, while interest in “electric vehicle charging stations” is up 19%, underlining how central charging access has become for drivers considering the switch.
Asif Ghafoor, CEO of Be.EV, said:
“Drivers don’t want to become experts in charging – they just want it to be simple, reliable and fairly priced. Partnering with Leasing.com allows us to reach people at the moment they’re choosing their next car and give them confidence about how public charging works in day-to-day life.
As Be.EV continues to expand nationwide, this partnership is an important step in ensuring more drivers feel supported from the very start of their EV journey.”
Mike Fazal, CEO at Leasing.com, added:
“The reintroduction of government EV grants has resulted in lower monthly costs for EV lease drivers, alongside Salary Sacrifice tax incentives, making electric and hybrid fleets even more financially attractive.
EV demand on our platform continues to rise, but customers want confidence that charging is accessible and fairly priced. Be.EV shares our commitment to making the transition to electric as straightforward as possible.”
